LIC (Lanka) Ltd. launched its i – Life mobile App for its policy holders in Sri Lanka in a glittering function held on 19th September 2018 at Taj Samudra Hotel, Colombo. The application provides for all information regarding an individuals Life Insurance Policy and making it possible to seamlessly pay the due premium 24 x 7 from anywhere in the world though smart phone. The App provides for the following : -
- The App will cater to the needs of the customers of LIC (Lanka) Limited
- All the necessary information with regard to policies will be at their finger tips
- Premiums can be paid using this App
- Customers could obtain their loan details
- Loan payments & interests can be paid
The App was formally launched for the Policy holders of LIC (Lanka) Limited by Hon. Minister of State for Finance & Mass Media , Mr Eran Wickramaratne, His Excellency Mr Taranjit Singh Sandhu, High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka and Mr Mano Tittawella, Chairman, Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka in the presence of Mr Eraj Wijesinghe, Chairman of the Bartleet Group of Companies.
These distinguished guests were welcomed by the LIC (Lanka) Deputy General Manager (Marketing, Sales & Distribution) Mr Madawa Gunaratna.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr J Sen, CEO/ MD of LIC (Lanka) Limited reaffirmed the Company’s commitment to Sri Lanka and informed that the Company is one of the fastest growing Life Insurance Companies as far as First Premium Income is concerned. Mr Sen said that LIC of India, being the 2nd largest IT user in India, a series of e – enabled services will be further introduced in Sri Lanka with the help of the expertise of the parent Company.
