T.S.VIJAYAN - CHAIRMAN
Mr Vijayan is the youngest ever Chairman of LIC.
Mr Vijayan
began his career in LIC as a direct recruit officer in 1977. He was the
first Director and Chief Executive of LICHFL CareHomes,
a subsidiary of LICHFL. In this role, he was instrumental in designing the
systems for running community living centres for
senior citizens.
Before his appointment
as MD, Mr Vijayan was
Executive Director (Information Technology and Business Process
Re-engineering). It was during his tenure that projects involving
enterprise portal and data warehousing were conceived and implemented

CEO & Managing Director
Joined LIC in 1984 at Mumbai. Held some pivoted
positions such as MM, Kolkata DM (In-charge), Hazaribagh, SDM I/C., Hazaribagh, Patna and Pune.
Born on 4th February 1956. Had done graduation (BA) and done
Law Graduation (LLB). Interests include listening to music, reading
